PH: What city do you represent? What is your hometown?
Ms Cris: I’m from Detroit.

PH: What are your measurements?
Ms Cris: 34c-26-38

PH: What is your ethnicity?
Ms Cris: African American.

PH: What kind of modeling is it that you do?
Ms Cris: I’m into print modeling. Urban glamour and street fashion have been my strong areas but I am not limited to it.

PH: How long have you been modeling?
Ms Cris: Seriously for a few months now but I’ve played around with the idea for a few years.

PH: How did you first get started into modeling?
Ms Cris: Someone liked my look and I took a few pics. It landed me a spot in a hair magazine.

PH: If people could describe you in one word what would it be?
Ms Cris: ambitious.

PH: What are some of your accomplishments and goals as a model?
Ms Cris: I’ve made it a priority to network and I feel as though for me to be such a fresh face, I’ve been able to connect with some of the industry’s key players. I know it’s really important to network in order to progress. I really hope to use modeling as a tool to gain more supporters for my other areas of interest such as music and visual art.

PH: What sets you apart from other models in the industry?
Ms Cris: What sets me apart from other models in the industry I would say is my drive and personality. I know who I am and where I want to go... and I’m having fun while getting there.

PH: What are some of the people you’ve had the pleasure of working with?
Ms Cris: I’ve worked with a number of photographers in the past, but recently most of my images have been shot by 2020Photography. My latest work is with spksmen.com, where I worked with a photographer named Bryan Sona. Those images are scheduled to release soon. I’m excited to see how they turned out because it would be my first ad campaign.

PH: What do you think is the most attractive part of your body?
Ms Cris: my lips

PH: Are you currently single?
Ms Cris: single and mingling.

PH: What’s the worse pickup line you’ve heard?
Ms Cris: “You wanna be my girlfriend???” … (my response = * blank stare *)

PH: What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Ms Cris: I think people would be surprised to know that I’m really playful. If I’m not cracking jokes with the homies, then I’m plotting on an adventure. People are always so serious. I guess it’s my job to remind them to smile!

PH: What do you feel is the biggest misconception about you?
Ms Cris: That I’m stuck up! It’s soooo NOT true! I’m usually the one to break the ice and spark conversations with people around me. I’m very open and easy to talk to.

PH: What do you like to do you in your spare time?
Ms Cris: My life right now is focused around my schoolwork, since I’ll be graduating in May with my Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. When I’m not modeling, making music, or painting… I’m just relaxing and appreciating the love I have around me such as with my family and friends.

PH: What is some advice you can give to aspiring models trying to break into the industry?
Ms Cris: Don’t lose yourself. Don’t sell yourself short. AND don’t let others discourage you from pursuing your dreams.
