Growing up, Melody faced a skin condition called Pityriasis rosea, which caused inflamed breakouts that spread across her back. Her great-grandmother would mix special ingredients to soothe the flare-ups rituals that planted a seed in Melody long before she knew what entrepreneurship meant.

“I learned a lot about beauty, skincare, and healthcare from her. I made sure many of those things were incorporated into Seventh Avenue Beauty,” Melody shares.

Pivoting With Power — From TV Star to Beauty Mogul

After navigating a highly publicized divorce and years of reality-TV drama, Melody did what real hustlaz do. She pivoted with grace and purpose. Leaving the show at the start of 2025, she locked in on expanding her legacy beyond the lens.

Despite already becoming a millionaire by age 28 and dissolving businesses tied to her marriage, Melody rebuilt — this time, independently.
