GLITZ & GIRLPOWER HONORS TRINA WITH “TRINA DAY” IN MIAMI AT #WATCHUSWERK DINNER AT STK SOUTH BEACH

Rarely do we encounter in the news hip-hop acts being recognized by their communities for their creative and altruistic contributions. Monday night (March 15), Glitz & Girlpower in partnership with Premier Choice Group— women empowerment platforms that promote campaigns designed to celebrate the most inspirational and influential women in their respective industries, celebrated their first #WatchUsWerk dinner ceremony. The campaign kicked off honoring, Katrina Laverne Taylor (aka “Trina”) for all of the major milestones made throughout her seventeen years in the music industry.

After 5 albums, millions of records sold, and dozens of awards, Trina has and will always be a musical icon in the hip hop industry. The phenomenal success in her rap career would not be possible without support from the residents of Miami-Dade County. During the celebration Trina was also honored with her very own day by the Mayor of Miami, Tomas Pedro Regalado and Commissioner Keon Hardenon.
