Miami is the home to The 9 mile festival, Overtown Music and Arts Festival, Jazz in the Gardens, Rolling Loud Music Festival and a number of others. This past weekend, another Festival was added to the list; Lit Up Music Festival. The Festival was held at RC Cola Plant located at 550 NW 24th St. This event was presented by 9 mile Entertainment & ImaginationTV. The lineup included Hip-Hop artists with special concentration on Miami’s own talent. Briana Perry, Jacc, Young Cheddah, 3Fortiori, VNO400, DJ Tea, YD4Life, Y beezy, Pilly Mae and more. The Headliners were Smoke Purp, Juice World, Yo Gotti and controversial rapper Tekashi 69. The festival began at 8pm. There were plenty of food and drink vendors. The venue also included a VIP area that was complete with a bar, bottle service and exclusive seating. With the recent murder of XXXtentacion, he definitely was not forgotten. There were a number of tributes to him throughout the night. His mother was in attendance and it was a bitter-sweet moment when she took the stage during one of the performances. A host of DJ’s kept the crowd going including Miami’s own DJ Irie. The crowd was pleasantly surprised with performances from Lil Pump and Blocboy JB. Check out some pictures below and stay tuned to our Instagram for exclusive footage from the event.
