This past summer, 2Chainz informed the world that “Pretty girls love trap music.” This theory seems legit… We love trap music! The classiest girls to the ratchets and all in between, when trap music comes on, we all become one… What do we love as much as we love trap music? A nice big glass of wine! Mix the music and wine with a paint brush… and you have the ultimate ladies night. On Sunday night, Brandi Raley of Greensboro, NC turned The Mill Entertainment Complex into a Pretty Girl play house with her first edition of “Trapping Paint”.
The setting for the event was absolutely beautiful. This is actually one of the dopest events I have attended this year. Brandi participated with the crowd and made sure everyone stayed turned up as the DJ kept us out of our seats and moving our bodies as we moved those paint brushes. Mama Raley made sure all in attendance had a glass of wine at all times and delicious Gummy Juice. That Gummy Juice made me forget I couldn’t twerk when Blac Youngsta came on and turned me into a rapper with Dreams and Nigtmares (Free Meek Mill). It was not your average sip and paint, it was more like a party amongst friends.
The painting of the night “Molly Ski Mask” was fun to paint and came out as unique as each lady in the room. Maria Donnell, the instructor was amazing and made sure we had supplies that were needed and shared some of her creative ideas. Brandi definitely did this event for the ladies and lucky for us it wont be the last. What stood out the most to me, was everyone on Brandi’s team did their part to make sure her event was a success.
Trap music and paint events are taking place all over the US. Its promoting sisterhood in a litt atmosphere. A place to let your hair down, enjoy good music, good drinks, feel like Picasso and take dope pictures and snap chat videos.
Brandi has announced the next Trapping Paint will be held on December 10th in Greensboro. Check your city for events near you.
