In a powerful act of vision, leadership, and cultural preservation, attorney and entrepreneur Tiffany M. Simmons has launched The Lawyer Museum in Atlanta, Georgia—an unprecedented initiative dedicated to documenting, honoring, and preserving the legacy of Black attorneys while history is still being made.

Driven by a deep commitment to ensure that Black legal excellence is not only remembered but recorded in real time, Simmons is building more than a museum. She is building an archive of legacy, justice, and cultural truth.

As the founder of Simmons Law LLC, Simmons was recently recognized by the Atlanta City Council, receiving an official proclamation in May honoring her groundbreaking leadership and the impact of her vision in bringing The Lawyer Museum to life.

“This is bigger than a museum,” Simmons shared.
“This is about documenting history while we are still living it, preserving the brilliance of Black attorneys, and creating a permanent space where culture, justice, education, and legacy meet.”

Her words reflect the heartbeat of the project—an intentional effort to shift how history is preserved and who gets centered within it. For too long, the contributions of Black attorneys have been under-documented or placed on the margins of legal history. The Lawyer Museum seeks to change that narrative by placing Black legal excellence at the forefront.

As the museum continues to take shape, Simmons is actively inviting the community into the journey. Through public updates, engagement events, and community-building efforts, she is creating a shared sense of ownership around the initiative—allowing supporters to witness the evolution of a historic institution from its foundation.

The museum is expected to open its permanent location in December 2026, marking a major milestone in what is already becoming a defining cultural and educational landmark in Atlanta.

Beyond her legal practice, Simmons is emerging as a powerful voice in entrepreneurship, legacy building, and cultural preservation. Her work reflects a larger mission: to ensure that Black excellence is not only celebrated in the moment but institutionalized for generations to come.

The Lawyer Museum stands as a testament to what becomes possible when purpose meets action—when vision is not delayed, but built in real time.

Through her leadership, Tiffany M. Simmons is not just preserving history.

She is actively writing it.
