From Friends to Customers to Owners
The legacy baton for Her Power Space was officially passed in May 2024 when three friends—and longtime customers of the space—decided to take their commitment to the community to the next level.
Following years of benefiting from the environment and resources Her Power Space provided, Kadiann, Ashergay, and Patsy joined forces to form Gold KAP Management Inc. and purchased the business from founder and previous owner Michelle Y. Talbert.
Today, Gold KAP Management Inc. is actively building upon Michelle’s vision by strengthening the foundation she created while ensuring every member, entrepreneur, and client continues to receive exceptional service and support.
A Vision Born From Experience
Her Power Space was founded by recovering corporate attorney Michelle Y. Talbert as a woman-forward, men-welcoming boutique coworking space, business event venue, and podcast studio.
The mission was simple yet powerful: create a place where entrepreneurs, side hustlers, freelancers, and solopreneurs could access the resources, community, and support often missing from their business journeys.
Many entrepreneurs experience isolation while building their dreams. Her Power Space was created to change that by offering not only a professional environment but also a community that fosters collaboration, accountability, and growth.
Overcoming Challenges and Building Resilience
Her Power Space officially opened its doors on January 12, 2020. Just months later, the world changed.
Like many businesses, the space faced unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 31, 2020, Michelle was forced to close the doors temporarily as uncertainty swept across the country. Despite the obstacles, Her Power Space persevered and emerged as a symbol of resilience, adaptability, and community support.
Today, the space continues to thrive while serving entrepreneurs throughout South Florida and beyond.

On June 27, Her Power Space will once again bring professionals together for N.E.T. — Networking with Exceptional Taste, an event designed for entrepreneurs, business owners, remote professionals, creatives, and aspiring leaders who understand the value of meaningful connections.
